Terzo appuntamento con le novità 2010 in casa SERGIO BONELLI EDITORE. Panoramica dedicata a Martin Mystère, Zagor e Julia.

Martin Mystère

Niente riposo nel 2010 per Martin Mystère, che dovrà passare dal sole dell’Egitto (alla ricerca del tempio perduto della dea Hathor, in compagnia una donna letale e misteriosa) al gelo dei ghiacci dell’Artide (sulle tracce di un'antica nave romana), e poi ancora a viaggiare nel tempo, nella Venezia di Giacomo Casanova (dove incontrerà bizzarre creature dall’origine sconosciuta), e in giro per la Romania alla caccia di mostri usciti dalle loro prigioni (e per niente disposti a rientrarvi). D’estate, comunque, il Buon Vecchio Zio Marty si prenderà una breve pausa, e racconterà a Java (e ai suoi fedeli lettori) un’avventura da lui vissuta ai tempi dell’università; vedremo quindi un giovane e curioso Martin muovere i primi passi che lo porteranno successivamente a diventare il “Detective dell’Impossibile”, con accanto un altrettanto giovane Chris Tower, futuro direttore di “Altrove”. E, parlando della misteriosa base, non dimentichiamoci in autunno il consueto appuntamento con “Storie da Altrove”, in cui troveremo un personaggio già noto ai lettori di Zagor: il misterioso “Agente Raven” che già una volta in passato aiutò lo Spirito con la Scure in un caso particolarmente intricato. Ma noi possiamo chiamarlo con il suo vero nome: Edgar Allan Poe!

Zagor

Il 2010 sarà un anno importante per Zagor, perché traghetterà l'eroe di Darkwood verso il fatidico appuntamento del giugno 2011, quando lo Spirito con la Scure festeggerà i suoi primi cinquanta anni con un albo speciale a colori e con uno "Zagorone". Ma, per attenerci alle uscite dei prossimi mesi, cominciamo con un debutto: negli albi di gennaio, febbraio e marzo esordisce un nuovo disegnatore, il siciliano Joevito Nuccio: avrà due albi e mezzo per raccontare una storia horror sull'argomento più classico del genere, l'uomo lupo, ma aggiornando il precedente zagoriano risalente a Nolitta & Donatelli. A seguire, a metà dell'albo di marzo e poi in quello di aprile, una conferma: gli Esposito Bros. I due fratelli pugliesi sono divisi fra Zagor e Martin Mystère e giungono con entusiasmo alla loro seconda storia dello Spirito con la Scure. Sono previste poi, a partire da maggio, le nuove storie di Marcello Mangiantini, Marco Verni e Mauro Laurenti. Il primo ha illustrato una avventura nei canoni del più tradizionale western sceneggiata per lui da Luigi Mignacco;  Verni invece continua a far coppia con Moreno Burattini in una storia che vede il ritorno del cercatore di tesori Digging Bill; Laurenti sarà invece alle prese con la sua prima storia horror zagoriana, scritta da Jacopo Rauch. Laurenti è anche l'autore del primo dei due Maxi, "Il vendicatore nero", in edicola a gennaio: la trama vede Zagor affrontare un giustiziere mascherato, anche lui armato di scure, che persegue un suo misterioso disegno di vendetta e fa vacillare il ruolo di paladino delle tribù di Darkwood del nostro eroe. Il secondo Maxi, a luglio, sarà appannaggio di Gianni Sedioli: solo allora scopriremo chi è "L'uomo nel mirino" evocato dal titolo. Nello Speciale, invece, in edicola a marzo, avremo la prima storia zagoriana di un disegnatore "ereditato" da Mister No, Oliviero Gramaccioni. L'Almanacco di settembre vedrà invece una storia scritta da Mirko Perniola (sceneggiatore anche di Nathan Never) e illustrata dal veterano Alessandro Chiarolla: "Il dottor Knox".  

Julia

L’anno inizia con il rapimento di un quattordicenne. Per liberarlo, Julia dovrà esplorare la vita del ragazzo, mettendo in luce il lato oscuro di un'adolescenza inquieta. A febbraio, un commando di ex militari sta per compiere una rapina. La criminologa tenta di sventarla, ma viene presa in ostaggio. Dovrà affidarsi alle sue migliori tattiche psicologiche per contrastare le tattiche di guerra del colonnello Gerrod. A marzo la natura selvaggia, affascinante ma infida, sarà lo scenario di una nuova avventura di Julia, alla ricerca di un padre che ha rapito i suoi due figli. Altrettanto infida e affascinante è la serial killer Myrna Harrod che, sempre più imprevedibile e feroce, rinuncia alla fuga per raggiungere l’unico scopo della sua tormentata vita: vendicarsi di Julia. E per vendetta agisce anche la Mantide, un’assassina che frequenta locali notturni e colpisce ragazzi single, di bella presenza, contagiandoli con il virus dell’AIDS. Nell’albo successivo, le indagini si spostano nel mondo operaio dei cantieri edili, dove uomini che vogliono solo lavorare vedono la loro dignità calpestata quotidianamente da regole che impediscono loro di pensare, di organizzarsi, di difendersi, spingendoli perfino a coltivare istinti omicidi. Nella storia in edicola a luglio, Julia s'iscrive a un corso di autodifesa e viene coinvolta nell’inchiesta sulla morte sospetta del padre della sua istruttrice di Judo. In agosto, dovrà dare identità e giustizia a un cadavere depezzato e occultato in due valigie abbandonate al deposito bagagli della stazione e a settembre dovrà sventare un attentato ordito ai danni di una donna di pace, venuta dall’Oriente per raccogliere fondi e liberare il suo Paese dalla dittatura. Finalmente in ottobre la nostra criminologa potrà prendersi una vacanza con la nonna, ma anche in villeggiatura non mancherà un truce delitto su cui indagare, coadiuvata dall’anziana, ma ancora arzilla, Lillian. Si prosegue a novembre con una storia macabra sul furto di ceneri funerarie e si conclude a dicembre con un’avventura sulla mafia russa. Immancabile l’appuntamento annuale con l’Almanacco del Giallo che ci porterà indietro nel tempo, quando Julia era ancora una studentessa universitaria alle prese con lo stupro e l’omicidio di una pediatra, avvenuto negli scantinati di un enorme palazzo popolare dei bassifondi di Garden City.

Martin Mystere

Nothing aside in 2010 for Martin Mystère, which will pass by the sun in Egypt (in search of the lost temple of the goddess Hathor, in company with a deadly and mysterious woman) to freeze the ice of the Arctic (on the trail of an ancient Roman ship ) and then again to travel in time, the Venice of Giacomo Casanova (where he will meet bizarre creatures of unknown origin), and all over Romania on the hunt for monsters come out of their prisons (and not at all prepared to return). And, speaking of the mysterious base, do not forget the usual autumn date with "Stories from elsewhere," where we find a character already known to readers of Zagor: the mysterious "Agent Raven" already once in the past helped him with the Spirit dark in a particularly complicated case. But we can call it by its true name: Edgar Allan Poe!

Zagor

2010 will be an important year for Zagor because traghetterà the hero of Darkwood to the fateful meeting in June 2011, when the Spirit with the ax will celebrate its first fifty years with a special register in color, with a "Zagorone. But to stick to the outputs of the coming months, beginning with a debut: in my albums in January, February and March begins a new drawing, the Sicilian Joevito Nuccio: will have two registers and a half to tell a horror story about the most classic of the genre The Wolf Man, but updating its Zagoria dating back Nolitta & Donatelli. Following, in mid-dawn of March and then in April, a confirmation: The Edwards Bros. The two brothers are split between Puglia Zagor and Martin Mystere and they come with enthusiasm to their second story of the Spirit with the ax. Laurent is also the author of the first of two giant, "The Black Avenger", on sale in January: the plot sees Zagor face a masked executioner, who was also armed with axes, who pursues his mysterious plan of revenge and shakes the role as a champion of the tribe of Darkwood of our hero. The second Maxi, in July, will be the prerogative of Gianni sediola: only then find out who is "The Gauntlet" evoked by the title. In the special, however, on sale in March, we will have the first story of a cartoonist zagoriana "inherited" by Mister No, Oliviero Gramaccioni. The Almanac of September will see instead a story written by Mirko Perniola (also screenwriter Nathan Never) and illustrated by veteran Alessandro Chiarolla "Dr. Knox."

Julia

The year begins with the abduction of a fourteen. To free him, Julia will explore the life of the boy, highlighting the dark side of adolescence restless. In February, a former military commando is about to do a robbery. Criminology attempts to foil, but is taken hostage.
