At the reprint by the Rabbit publisher, today we talk about a great comic, CYBERSIX. Towards the beginning of the 90s Eura editorial launched an innovative project based on the pen by Carlos Trillo and design better. The comic originally came out in episodes of the weekly group (the famous Skorpio and LancioStory) and then get a monthly list all thanks to his success. Despite the good number of sales due to economic contrasts between the authors and the publisher, Cybersix was suppressed with a final-final.
Cyb. So call your friends ... a girl that will make you fall in love, with eyes and heart. Cybersix is a dark comic strip, from dark and pessimistic tone, but definitely rich in single quotes (Pessoa, Wilde, striking the stake divided by the "I" in Ballard), of which the writer is wide and wise use. Thanks also to the original style of inquiry, beautiful drawings of Carlos better, the balloon can realistically represent the human reality and simultaneously to take, at times, sounds epic. It 'set in Meridian, a city where dark and degraded Cybersix, the "fantastic creature of the night", is trying to escape the creatures Von Reichter, a former Nazi criminal who created it to arise from a test tube along with other 4999 brothers (the "Series Cyber", she is number 6), he killed not suited to obedience because the old megalomaniac claimed. Cybersix (now the "renegade") you save and take refuge in Meridian, where Von Reichter who lives in the Amazon forest, the work by his son Joseph-clone: child forever, eternally Nasty. At times even grotesque, as well as all the other series created by his "father": the "Techno", the "Type" and stupidissimi "Fixed Idea" (their only idea is to kill the "renegade"). Cybersix during the day it hides under the clothes of Adrian Seidelman, shy professor of literature. At night, dressed in black latex with a cloak, it moves on the roofs of tall buildings in Meridian, populated by fearsome Gargoyles. In fact it needs to survive, like all creatures of Von Reichter, a "substance" and did not obtain it any other way that suck from the neck of his enemies. It 'so obvious comparison with the vampire as one, highlighted by the authors, with a toxic compound. The plot is fascinating and troubled, is never trivial, sometimes commuove deeply and often pushes the reader to think, especially because it lacks the classic distinction between Good and Evil: there are friends and enemies, there are no good or bad. Cyb's friends are Maura, a prostitute, drug addict, Dostoyevsky, the policeman, and more violent bastard of Meridian, Julian and Nacho, two little vagabonds, and Seven Date: panther with the brain of another child of the "Cyber series" (the Cyber 7). The only feature is almost always negatively Von Reichter, which claims absolute submission and obedience from his creatures and which will retain the right to life and death, in an attempt to create a "perfect race". One of the characters, however, appear to be on the side of "justice" is (... strangely!) A journalist: Lucas Amato, a blond Ragazzoni referred Cybersix s'innamorerà reciprocated and, finally won her fears of "artificial woman ", has a son from him. Lucas, however, this need not know ever since, even before Cyb can say is kidnapped, and when I manage to escape loses memory. Meanwhile, the baby, Genghis, was abducted from newborn Von Reichter (... the 'grandfather "?!?!), subjected to a fast growing and forced to hate his mother.
The comic was an international success, in fact, in 1995 Argentina was shot in a film, with its beautiful Pelleritti Carolina in the role of protagonist and into 2000 was realized in a series of cartoons based on the character of Cybersix. Commercial requirements for a good part of the script was cleaned up by the erotic and violent traits that characterized the character. Disappear blood, murder, sexual allusions, and vampires of the protagonist (the substance is no longer sucked to victims). Although the graphics were good quality, the project sank after the first series (13 episodes), leaving many fans bitter. It is indisputable that this version has become very popular Cybersix (just take a trip to the fansites on the net), but probably the character and history leaving partly snaturalizzati. Following the success of the cartoon, Cyb was even published in Japan in the manga style! And without doubt, the heroines "artificial," breath of Kischiro Yukito, and the Max of Dark Angel, tv-series created by James Cameron, must much to the atmosphere and the many stories told by the two argentini.Ora we should enjoy this valuable reprints and hope that the bait tray Trillo finally a worthy culmination of this saga! And maybe it is never too drawn regret from the best.

Seconda serie (Alita : Last Order)

BAA09_139_Alita_4bodies

Breathes the angel of the battlefield (铳梦Gunnm Mu-Gun) is a manga created by Yukito Kishiro in 1991.
The original title was changed to Battle Angel Alita in the U.S. by Viz Communications for simple reasons of aesthetics and pronunciation. Gunnm was a sound too hard, which is not suited to the beautiful cyborg, the protagonist of the manga. Even in the Italian manga was named Alita angel of the battlefield. Even the name of the protagonist has been transformed into Alita, Gally than the original. The series, done in 1995, was resumed and continued in dal'autore follow Alita Last Order, which is still in print. Alita tells the adventures of a young cyborg girl (a girl whose brain was installed inside a robotic body) with no memory. The story is set in the "city dump", a gigantic metropolis dominated by Salem, the city suspended in the clouds that discharge below the waste itself. In one of these dumps a cyberdottore, Daisuke Ido, Alita found among the discarded waste, and his body has suffered serious structural damage, while his brain, although in a state of "stasis," is still intact. Ido then decide to repair and give her a new body. From these premises it unravels the story of Alita, including hints at the past, humanity and philosophical digressions on the value thereof, to the death struggle in which Alita uses the most powerful martial art ever devised by man, the Panzer Kunst , discipline developed colonies on the planet Mars by the great master Tiga Zauer, in fact, the Panzer Kunst is the element that allows the couple Alita to remember his life before his recovery at the landfill, and that will enable it to overcome the deadliest bloody. Alita faces a long road to mental and psychological maturity that they lead to important answers about their lives, the meaning and origin of Salem, the city suspended, and the mysteries which it is linked; events, stopped abruptly in the first series (which, for the purposes of maintaining continuity of the plot should not be considered the last roll of the first Italian series of the Angel Alita battle published by Panini Comics in Manga Planet in line during the period from February 1997 to July 1998, the Alita series collection, shown subsequently reprinted without the tables instead of the number of the previous edition), continuing in the second set still Alita Last Order (2007) in print, with peridiocità irregular. The first set focuses on the first couple approaches that Alita has with the city landfill and the characters that populate; addresses first defeating the terrible battles cyber-criminal Makaku hand and touches with the joys and sorrows of life when you love with young outlaw Yugo. These, however, discovered by the police of the city dump with illegal trafficking of vertebral column that ran, was injured seriously, and when resumed, the abnormal obsession for the city suspended, Salem, will lead to a premature and tragic end that upsets Alita. Lost love, and every reason to live Alita flows on the body and soul Motorball, a sport extremely violent and spectacular, in which cyborg equipped with skids vaguely resembling large rollerblades are competing for possession of a lead ball at the end path, (sport already admired in Rollerball, film fil, 1975) in order to win the race. The career of Alita makes rapid progress, so much so that she will come to challenge the champion of the First Division Motorball, Emperor Jashugan. In the violent confrontation Alita was seriously wounded, and the same Jashugan perish, but he left an indelible trace of himself in memories of Alita. Ended his career in Motorball Alita faces new and more terrible enemies, such as the crazy bounty hunter and Zapan desty Nova. The series ends with his "death" in the hands of Alita desty Nova, in an explosion orchestrated dall'acerrimo enemy, not a bad sui generis but a true scientist, mad, haunted by the doctrine of karma, skillful manipulator of advanced tools nanotech and creator of the worst monsters against whom to fight Alita. However, he is the subject of a search affannosa by the Government of Salem which recruits Alita as his agent in order to capture Nova; Salem wants to use his exceptional intelligence in your favor. Besides the story itself is great also the background created by the writer, who delights in using science and technology ideas being implemented but not well known as the space elevator, or nanotechnology.
End of the first original series
Sogna breathes the last day of Yoko or her previous identity, centuries before. Yoko shows a ruthless terrorist and a decidedly different personality from that of Alita. During an attack on Earth, Yoko is damaged and hurled towards the Earth's soil. Alita awakens in Salem, where desty Nova rebuilt his brain and made the Imaginos Body, a body artificial nanotechnology. Apparently, the purpose of desty Nova is to leave it free to act in Salem, according to its doctrine of karma, as a person endowed with free will. Alita saves Lou Collins by a brutal deportation, Nova reveals the secret of Salem, and finally attacked Melkhizedek, artificial intelligence MIB (Medical Investigation Bureau), which governs real Salem. Melkhizedek appears mentally unstable and decides to kill himself, breaking the cord that sustains orbital Salem. Upon instructions of Nova, Alita sacrifices himself turning to the maximum processing capacity dell'Imaginos Body for orbital re-cable, and is transformed into a huge construct nanotechnological shaped tree. Nova desty completely berserk.
The story ends with a short epilogue, in which Koyomi now successful journalist and Figure Four are looking for Alita. The two meet by pure chance desty Nova, apparently a bum totally demented, and discover that in the rare moments of lucidity he decided to regenerate Alita thanks to nanomachines. Reached the hideout of Nova, Figure Four pierces the cocoon in which rests Alita, "resurrected" by Nova.
This part of the story corresponds to the volume 18 of the first Italian edition.
Second Series (Alita: Last Order)
Last Order begins the destruction of Alita. The crowds desty Nova, believed dead, he manages to bring the remains of Alita on Salem and reassemble the brain of Alita, thanks to its nanotech tools, and gives the body cyborg ever more powerful, and designed with the help of nanotechnology; Imaginos the Body. Alita address so many ups and new adversaries, such as the warrior Sechs, Elf and the inseparable Zwölf or powerful monster nanotechnology Satumode; defeating Satumode save the lives of the citizens of Salem survived the wave of madness caused by the disclosure on the part of the Nova 'horrible secret of Salem. Alita is however aware of a mythical city space located at the antipodes of Salem, known as Jeru; ascending towards Jeru through the orbital elevator will have new allies to your side (Sechs, Elf and Zwölf) and do knowledge of new characters such as hackers and Ping Wu a formidable new enemy, the Governor of Jeru, Aga Mbadi, also known as Trinidad, will discover many details about his past life and travel a long, even reaching space colony on the Leviathan. The latest episodes are committed to the tournament ZOT (Zenith of All Things) at Jeru, facing enemies out of the ordinary as Caella Sanguis, you will find to be the woman who caused the death of Alita first two hundred years, from the execution of death sentence was expelled by Alita authorities in Jeru beyond Salem, and only thus can Ido cyberdottore recovered the remains after two hundred years in the city dump. There are also new revelations about the past and the history of the Earth in the period after the event that almost caused the extinction of mankind, namely the collapse of a large meteorite near Japan, and consequently there are some important revelations about characters such Caella sanguis and its relationship with Arthur Farrell, who made centuries before the system of governance based on Melkizedek, a computer with apparently precognitive ability. After an encounter with a virtual version of Caella, Ping Wu Aga Mbadi addresses in a virtual duel. Wu Ping ends in a coma but his action allows Alita temporarily blocking access to Melkizedek Aga Mbadi. Meanwhile, in Salem backup copies of the mad scientist desty Nova are continually destroyed and continually reform is, until a perfectly formed desty Nova Salemi offers to ally with him likely to face a threat from Jeru and it manages to establish contact with the city landfill and, therefore, with Kaos.
Meanwhile, Aga Mbadi was also militarily attack the ship of Space Angels but its soldiers have been destroyed and a furious Sechs him in front of the television that he had violated every rule of neutrality dellla ZOT At that moment appears Zekka, a Karateka space out of that challenge head Sechs, who forgets the attack and all the rest. Meanwhile, Alita, who found the brains of Lou with the help of "Porta-Nova," a backup desty Nova finished in the hands of Wu Ping, is facing a terrible and unexpected enemy: "Supernova", the desty Nova caught by Aga Mbadi and became his ally. Which, in turn, makes new, unexpected and terrible revelations in the account Alita (to retrieve the brain of Lou, it was necessary to replace it with another, provided by a friend of Wu Ping. But Supernova reveals that the brain no more new is that the original brain Alita, whose head is now a chip equal to that of the inhabitants of Salem) that comes from him to pieces with the resources supplied by Aga Mbadi and then destroys Porta-Nova. The Nova desty Salem manages to escape and meditates on the future. Meanwhile, Alita, or one that remains, is collected from maintenance robot that mourn the fate of Wu Ping and decide resuscitation. In answer to their prayers, it is the virtual version of Arthur that evokes memories of Alita to re-enable it. Once removed Alita, Aga Mbadi regrets Zekka with the failed attempt to retrieve the "fata morgana" by Supernova, concluding however that despite the many variables not provided his plans are continuing for the better. Opened the first round to the quarter-final which sees ZOT confronting the Karateka electromagnetic Toji and a huge and mysterious creature of the "space anomalies". In the first phase of Supernova live shows to the microphones that ZOT is Alita dead causing discomfort to Toji. After some difficulties Toji able to defeat the strange creature (that is discovered to come from Mercury) only with the help of Zekka who turns out to be the murderess of the master of Toji, which was once a companion under the teachings of one master . In the second round of quarter finals go down in the Space Angels now fighting Alita. Sechs faces the formidable representative of the team of Jupiter: 609-man war. Despite the disadvantage due to the enormous size and equipping opponent, Sechs can be better, but only thanks to the bodyguard of the Queen of Mars that will be able to overcome the opponent.
And now we do not expect nothing but wait for the new volumes!
