Nella 4° edizione di  Narnia fumetti ,ci sarà una mostra di tavole originali dell'autore abruzzese Carmine di Giandomenico, con quasi 200 tavole, tra cui molti inediti ("X-MEN: MAGNETO TESTAMENT" e il 4° numero della “DOTTRINA”).

Quindi , quale occasione migliore per parlare di questo bravissimo autore e delle sue opere!

Nato a Teramo il 13 aprile 1973, Carmine Di Giandomenico esordisce come disegnatore di fumetti nel 1994 disegnando la miniserie (di 4 numeri) Examen, scritta da Daniele Brolli per Phoenix Enterprise. L’opera che gli permette di farsi notare immediatamente da Marvel Italia, che gli commissiona, nel 1997, un numero della serie Conan, scritto da Chuck Dixon e pubblicato per il mercato spagnolo: La Espada Salvaje de Conan # 13 – El Ultimo Secreto de la Atlantida. È invece precedente, del 1995, la produzione Lovelorn Man #0, co-scritto con Cristian De Mattheis per Stylos Comics. Oltre ad avere collaborato come storyboard artist per la televisione e per il cinema (con i registi Martin Scorsese, Tsui Hark e Sergio Rubini), Di Giandomenico ha progettato e realizzato l’architettura per la città virtuale del sito ufficiale di Claudio Baglioni. Tra il 2000 e il 2001, per l’editore Montego pubblica Le Strabilianti Vicende di Giulio Maraviglia, Inventore, miniserie di 3 scritta da Alessandro Bilotta con colori di Emiliano Colantoni. Il fumetto si aggiudica il premio Fumo di China come Miglior Personaggio dell’Anno 2001, ed è stato di recente ripubblicato da Free Books. Ancora in coppia con Bilotta, realizza il racconto breve Il Cantore dei Balocchi, apparso nel 2002 su Lexy Presenta numero 12 della Lexy, e inizia a lavorare alla saga distopica La Dottrina, in corso di pubblicazione (il primo volume risale al 2002) per conto di Magic Press e Gruppo Saldatori. Nel 2004 ha esordito come autore completo con l’opera in 2 parti Oudeis, rilettura in chiave cyber-fantasy del personaggio omerico di Ulisse, pubblicata da SaldaPress. Nel 2007, dopo diverse collaborazioni con Marvel Comics per le testate What if… e Marvel Comics Presents, ha disegnato e scritto (in collaborazione con Zeb Wells) la miniserie Daredevil: Battlin’ Jack Murdock. Nel 2008, presta la sua matita al personaggio horror di Serdio Bonelli Editore, Dylan Dog, di cui firma un episodio, su testi di Bilotta, del secondo Dylan Dog Color Fest. Sempre nel 2008, si dedicata , su testi di Greg Pak, a MAGNETO TESTAMENT, della Marvel comics, a cui il sito della Ign la consacrata come la miglior miniserie americana del 2008 e a Siderman Noir, progetto legato alla “LINEA NOIR” della Marvel, su testi di DAVID HINE e FABRICE SAPOLSKY. Ultima fatica, per ora ovvio, le pagine dell’albetto omaggio a Narnia Fumetto del 2009. In attesa del Quarto e ultimo volume della Dottrina, non ci resta che gustarci questa favolosa mostra e a fare quattro chiacchiere con l’autore, che se vi capiterà di farle, vi assicuro rimarrete incantati dal suo essere uomo!

In 2004 he made his debut as an author with the work complete in 2 parts Oudeis, cyber-fantasy reinterpretation of the character of Homer's Ulysses, published by saldapress. In 2007, after numerous collaborations with Marvel Comics for ... What if newspapers and Marvel Comics Presents, he designed and wrote (in collaboration with Zeb Wells) the mini-series Daredevil: Battlin 'Jack Murdock. In 2008, he served his pencil to the character's horror Serdar Boneli publisher, Dylan Dog, which signed an episode, with texts by Bilotta, second Dylan Dog Horror Fest. Also in 2008, is dedicated to texts by Greg Pak, MAGNETO TESTAMENT, Marvel comics, in which the site of the Ign hailed as the best miniseries and Siderman American Noir of 2008, a project linked to the "BLACK LINE" of Marvel, texts by DAVID HINE and Fabrice Sapolsky. Last work, for now obvious, pages dell'albetto tribute to Narnia Comics 2009. Pending the fourth and last volume of the doctrine, we can only enjoy this great show and chat with the author, that if you happen to have them, I assure you will be charmed by his being a man!
