Chinese archaeologists announced that they have found a great third-century tomb that may be that of the general Cao Cao. The discovery and 'took place in Henan province, in the village of Xigaoxue near the ancient city' of ayang. The tomb, says the China Central Television, contains the remains of a man about 60 years (corresponding to the age 'of the death of Machiavellian political) and two women. An inscription in the tomb refers to him. Cao Cao (曹操) (155-220) was the last prime minister of the Han Dynasty, more specifically the Eastern Han and Later Han. The period of unrest that marked the end of the dynasty, appropriated the domain of northern China. Thus became one of the most important figures of the Three Kingdoms period and known by the posthumous name of Emperor Wu of Wei. In fact, although Cao Cao place the foundations necessary for the founding of the dynasty, was his son Cao Pi 曹丕 (187-226) to accept the abdication of the last emperor of the Han dynasty, and founded the Wei dynasty, therefore, better known as Cao曹魏 Wei (220-264). During his reign, in 215 d.C. was officially recognized Taoist Church of the Celestial Masters (Tianshi 天师). He was known as a writer and as strategist. He then became the hero of numerous literary works.
The most famous mystery about the mutilation of art history may finally be solved: according to one scholar, to push Vincent Van Gogh cut off his ear was to learn that his brother Theo, from which the artist depended financially and psychologically, was to marry. This suggestion by Martin Bailey, author of a book on Van Gogh and the editor of two exhibitions of his work, which will treat the next issue of The Art Newspaper, early today by the Sunday Times. The theory on a Van Gogh overwhelmed by the fear that his brother, took the new marital commitments, would not have more affordable, was produced by Bailey after a thorough investigation into a letter that contained in a master of Sunflowers painting completed shortly after he cut his ear. According to Bailey, the letter was written by the same Theo from Paris in December 1888 and contained news of her engagement, which would have a winner already deeply troubled psychologically disturbed and would have led, shortly before Christmas 1888, the famous gesture of self-harm, the reasons for which hitherto had remained shrouded in mystery. "Vincent was afraid of losing the psychological and financial support of his brother," Bailey writes in The Art Newspaper in January. For years, cut off the ear of the Dutch genius has been at the heart of most explanations disparate.Qualcuno blamed his folly, someone explained the madness of Van Gogh with lead content in the colors, others have cited the end of his friendship with Paul Gauguin, to the point that scholars of the University of Hamburg have claimed that it was the same Gauguin, with whom Van Gogh shared a house in Arles, to cut off his ear during a fight for a prostitute named Rachel. This explanation, however, was rejected by both the Go Gogh Museum in Amsterdam from the same Bailey. Of his mental instability, however, Van Gogh gave ample proof when, 19 months after he cut off his ear, he shot himself in the chest and died after two days of agony. The letter at the heart of the theory of Bailey would be the same that appears in the painting "Still Life: Table with onions", painted by Van Gogh in January 1889, barely a month after being wounded, and that will be on display in the exhibition at the Royal Academy in London opening next month

In recent years, the Italian newsstands, have suffered 's invasion of attachments of various kinds and types. Each Daily, Weekly, Monthly ... could not deny its readers a gadget, whatever it fosse.Tra the various annexes that have peeped through the shelves, even comic still does, its part: series dedicated to individual characters - Tex, Batman, Asterix, Alan Ford , Diabolik, Dago ... ; series dedicated to authors - Manara, Crepax; necklaces anthology - DC Comics, Marvel Comics, The Comic Strip Classics, Anthologies Disney, The Masters of Comics ... Whatever the initiative linked to the clouds speakers, even though she was always been treated up to the form (hard cover books, coloring of stories originally in black & white ...), it was always more or less reprints of classic stories. This at least until today, (although in reality, due to slippage of publications, was first presented in newsstand and then into the library volome Ghost Raider signed by Garth Ennis, always rolls Comics, and always in the Annex to Gazzetta dello Sport ).

The year was 1995, when Bandai Visual inserted in its catalog a new animated feature: Ghost in the Shell. The souls in question was, of course, the transposition of the manga by Masamune Shirow animated (1991), but not a normal transposition. In fact, among the credits we see names like Mamoru Oshii (also director of Patlabor 1 and 2 (1989/1993)); Takashi Watabe who oversaw the beautiful backgrounds for this soul and character designs by Hiroyuki Okiura. The story is set in a near future where cyborgs and humans coexist peacefully and grafts Cybernetica what are now common in the bodies of individuals, where only the human spirit resides there and where is the last remnants of humanity. The cyber-agent Motoko Kusanagi, hunting every day, he runs into a criminal called "The Puppet Master" who has the ability to intrude into the thoughts of its victims. Research leads Kusanagi through political intrigue and corruption, and, later, to philosophical reflections on his life and his destiny. The story is inspired from the manga but it develops its own way, is exciting and wonderful: an animated feature away from each classification. The construction is impeccable, including character design, backgrounds and computer graphics (which would explain the Cybernetica world where the story takes place) are witnessing a miracle worthy of a few comparisons. The dreamlike atmospheres are alternated with moments of action and the whole is framed by a beautiful photograph, which creates a unique product, recommended for all adults. Who does not know the philosophies in relation to the Japanese animated productions and this is the first major step towards a world apart technically. Heroines of Shirow here glorying in their being, in fact, the character design is very good. The design is made with a clean impressive and the animations are not even less. Script Kazunori Ito is well balanced and makes the viewer, between reflection and action, to disentangle the skein which history pivots. Worthy of Mention the wonderful soundtrack that accompanies the film and, in particular the beautiful themes in addition to opening and closing track "One Minute Warning" by Passengers (U2 or the experimental album here accompanied by Brian Eno). "Ghost in the Shell" is the first anime to be released simultaneously in theaters in Japan, England and the States. The film arrived in Italy in 1995, after the world, Bandai Visual and Manga Entertainment have begun, and had the honor of being presented at the Venice Film Festival (the first anime ever in the history of the festival lagoon ) as well as a lot of awards around the world, in various festivals in which it was submitted. A new DVD edition is published by Panini Video.

It was October 19, 2005, when the mayor of Rome inaugurated the first roads of the district Torrino-Mezzocammino. The peculiarity of these pathways, which have emerged in a new neighborhood, which was settled in 2007, is the fact that they are named after great writers who have shaped the history of Italian comics: from Gianluigi Bonelli and Aurelio Galleppini (creators Tex) Giussani sisters (author of Diabolik), by Benito Jacovitti (Cocco Bill, just to mention his most popular) to the unforgettable Hugo Pratt, Corto Maltese dad to so many other great comic book publishing as Tea Bertasi Bonelli, Walter Molino Franco Bonvicini, Sam Phillips, Roberto Raviola (aka Magnus), Rino Albertarelli, Erio Nicolò and many others who, over time, have been named streets and squares, but also avenues, wide, bridges and underpasses. On 20 November 2009, reflecting a project still growing and evolving urban area, which is defining itself as an identity and gaining more and more peculiar, what is now known as the "Neighborhood of the Comic Strip" is enriched Piazza Andrea Pazienza. Not that the place was not already named, since the beginning of the project, one of the most brilliant and influential authors of our national landscape ... Now, however, the Square has acquired its final appearance and absolutely original, being able to produce, on the walls that surround some large mosaic panels, porcelain tile, depicting many of the most famous comic characters in our tradition. For more information on the neighborhood and on the event, visit http://www.mezzocammino.it/

Bone is a comic book series written and drawn by Jeff Smith. Published in the United States of America between 1991 and 2004, tells of the adventures of three bone (white creatures, apes and the long nose): Fone Bone and his two cousins, Phoney Bone (the diminutive of Phoncible P. Bone) and Smiley Bone , who, fleeing from Boneville, their city, are lost in a stony desert and finally reach a valley known. Here are involved in the battle being waged between humans and furry creatures known as rattodonti, commanded by a mysterious character called the Hooded. Bone has the characteristic to join the one way typical of American humor comic with a continuous narrative that fuses a comic tone with a more epic and dramatic. With continuing gloomy history traits are made gradually predominate. Bone works for which can be approached, particularly in style, are of Cerebus Dave Sim of Walt Kelly and Pogo. The three main characters are also similar to three charges Disney: Mickey Mouse Fone Bone recalls both the thirties and forties, and partly also the most adventurous and optimistic Donald, Phoney Bone is a Scrooge more full of himself and less cautious, Smiley Bone However, reminiscent of Goofy. Noteworthy in this respect are the similarities between the cartoon of Jeff Smith and stories produced by Disney Carl Barks. The Italian edition of Bone, which began in 1996 and completed ten years later, in 2006, met with numerous difficulties. First published by the publishing house Black Spot (in an edition from newsstands and later in a comics-only), when the publisher fails Bone is being carried out by Lexy Production, which manages to publish one volume before closing itself . Then the balloon is retrieved by Panini Comics, which publishes the last three volumes of the saga, and is now reinventing the entire saga in the color version. In the United States, following the conclusion of the work, it was proposed an edition in one volume. In 2005 he published an episodic game, a graphic adventure genre, inspired by the first volume of the series and titled Bone: Out from Boneville. In 2006 he was also made a sequel, entitled Bone: The Great Cow Race. Both games were developed by Telltale Games.
