Mourning in the ski world by the sudden death of a young athlete from the national team jumping, Simona Senoner, aged 17. The girl was taken ill while he was in retirement in Germany and died of natural causes. This was announced by the physis, Italian Winter Sports Federation. The Senoner, native of Santa Cristina (Val Gardena), was in the hotel with the teammates in Schonach in the Black Forest when he got sick. Simona Senoner was immediately rescued and admitted to the nearest hospital where he died, however. The 17-year old promise of Santa Cristina was in Germany to participate in the stage of Continental Cup in Schonach. Born in Bolzano 13 June '93, was close to winter sports cross-country skiing and was passed to the jump, convincing Romed Moroder. During his career, came tenth in the 2008 World Junior Championships in Zakopane, and boasts a 15th place as best result in Dobbiaco Continental Cup weekend in the men's teams in the race to Harrachow jumping and Nordic combined in their race to compete with the Schonach mourning his arm to honor the memory of Simon.
