E' ufficiale. Anne Hathaway sarà Catwoman nel nuovo film di Batman. La Warner Bros ha annunciato il cast di "The Dark Knight Rises" della saga del supereroe realizzata dal regista Christopher Nolan. Christian Bale torna come Bruce Wayne e Batman, mentre Tom Hardy, che ha già lavorato con Nolan in "Inception", sarà Bane, nemico di Batman. Il film uscirà negli Usa il 20 luglio 2012. "Sono assolutamente entusiasta di avere l'opportunità di lavorare con Anne Hathaway, - ha dichiarato il regista Nolan -. Anne rappresenta una meravigliosa novità per il nostro gruppo di lavoro e sicuramente il suo contributo alla storia sarà fondamentale". Nel cast ci saranno anche Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), e Michael Caine (Alfred). La Hathatway ha recitato in molti film comici e drammatici, tra cui il recente "Amore e altre droghe", "Alice in Wonderland" e "Appuntamento con l'amore", ma è la prima volta che si cimenta in una pellicola ispirata a un fumetto. Dunque riuscirà l'ex protagonista de "Il diavolo veste Prada" a non far rimpiangere le sue ex colleghe Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer e Eartha Kitt?
