Oggi faccio contenta una mia carissima amica e approfondisco un personaggio Marvel, vero sogno erotico di molti lettori ,anche se non lo diranno mai! Tigra, il cui vero nome è Greer Grant Nelson, è un personaggio dei fumetti,creato da Tony Isabella (testi) e Don Perlin (disegni) nel 1974, pubblicato dalla Marvel Comics. Il personaggio ha fatto il suo ingresso nell'universo Marvel come Donna Gatto (The Cat), sull'albo The Cat n. 1 (novembre 1972) scritto da Linda Fite e Roy Thomas e disegnato da Marie Severin. Nata a Chicago, Greer Nelson era l'assistente della dottoressa Tumulo, membro della razza segreta nota come il Popolo Felino; dopo alcuni trattamenti sperimentali, Greer divenne l'eroina nota come la Donna Gatto. Un giorno però venne colpita da un agente dell'HYDRA con delle radiazioni mortali. Per salvarla, la dottoressa Tumulo e il Popolo Felino la trasformarono nell'eroina Tigra, dotata di forza sovrumana, agilità felina e sensi acutissimi. Tigra si unì ai Vendicatori, in una formazione che schierava oltre lei i cinque membri fondatori Capitan America, Thor, Iron Man, Wasp e Calabrone, del quale Greer prese il posto una volta che questi fu espulso per indisciplina. Inizialmente si mise in luce per il suo fisico che per le sue reali qualità, difatti dopo aver affrontato Ghost Rider e aver subito il suo sguardo di penitenza, fu paralizzata dalla paura e per lo shock rinunciò per un certo periodo alla vita da supereroe. Ritornò tempo dopo tra le file dei Vendicatori della Costa Ovest, dove prese più seriamente il suo ruolo d'eroina e dove divenne un elemento chiave della formazione, fino a quando non cominciò a divenire una "mangiatrice di uomini" legandosi contemporaneamente sia a Simon Williams (Wonder Man) che ad Hank Pym (ex Golia e Calabrone). Questo suo perenne desiderio di un compagno era dovuto agli effetti collaterali della sua mutazione, che poco alla volta stavano mettendo in contrasto le sue due anime, rendendola più simile ad un animale che ad un essere umano. In questo stato, nei panni di Tigra diveniva succube di tutti i maschi (debolezza sfruttata dal criminale Graviton), e riusciva a recuperare il proprio autocontrollo solo tornando ad essere Greer Nelson, perdendo però i propri poteri, diventando così inutile per la squadra durante i combattimenti. Per invertire gli effetti della maledizione, i Vendicatori chiesero l'aiuto del popolo felino, dopo aver aiutato questi contro l'essere demoniaco noto come Pandemonio. In seguito a questa avventura Greer guarì e le sue due anime si fusero, lasciandola permanentemente con la forma fisica di Tigra ma con il pieno autocontrollo delle proprie emozioni. Dopo lo scioglimento dei Vendicatori della costa ovest, Tigra andò per la sua strada, unendosi ai Vendicatori solo sporadicamente, nei panni di riserva ufficiale. Ha spesso collaborato anche con i Fantastici Quattro. Durante Civil War si schiera a favore della registrazione, ma sembra cambiare fazione nel corso della guerra. In realtà Iron Man mandò Tigra tra i ribelli come spia, ma la sua presenza venne poi scoperta da Capitan America, vanificando così gli sforzi di Greer. Finita la guerra, diviene una delle eroine registrate al servizio di Tony Stark; sembra che lei e Hank Pym abbiano ripreso a frequentarsi, ma durante una loro romantica serata Hank è stato convocato d'urgenza dallo S.H.I.E.L.D. per aiutare la sua ex moglie e i Potenti Vendicatori, lasciando Tigra sola e delusa. Tigra è stata la prima vittima del nuovo re del crimine, Parker Robbins alias Hood: venuto a conoscenza dei dati personali degli eroi registrati con l'Iniziativa dei 50 Stati, Hood usa la carta dell'intimidazione minacciandone i familiari, come ha fatto proprio con Greer, conoscendo l'indirizzo di sua madre. Tigra ha subito un pestaggio dal criminale, ripreso con una telecamera da Mosaico e mostrato alla comunità criminale come incentivo per unirsi alla sua campagna. In un secondo momento Hood è tornato a ricattare Tigra per farsi svelare la base dei Nuovi Vendicatori, Greer rivela l'informazione, ma successivamente si unirà alla banda di Luke Cage per respingerne l'attacco.
