Narnia Fumetto è stata per la NPE (Nicola Pesce Editore) l’occasione per annunciare la nuova collana Clouds, (in realtà la prima di due nuove collane che si affiancheranno alle già Nuvole d’Autore, Giovani Nuvole, Nuvole in Tempesta e L’Arte delle Nuvole) e che segna l’ingresso nel catalogo dell’editore di titoli internazionali. L’opera prima della collana già si preannuncia con i fuochi d’artificio, infatti la prima storia vede la matita e la firma di uno dei maestri del fumetto americano, Stuart Immonen! Disegnatore alla DC sulle pagine di Legion of Superheroes, Superman, poi passato alla “Casa Delle Idee” Marvel Comics , come disegnatore di testate come Thor,Hulk, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate F4, Ultimate X-Men,Nextwave e The New Avengers. Stuart Immonen ha all'attivo alcune opere anche per gli editori statunitensi Top Cow (Rising Stars, 2001) e Image Comics (Shockrockets, 2000) e per i francesi Les Humanoïdes Associés (Sebastian X, in coppia con lo sceneggiatore italiano Michelangelo La Neve). Il disegnatore canadese vanta anche degli exploit al di fuori del fumetto mainstream come autore completo, spesso in coppia con la moglie Kathryn Immonen. Proprio in quest’ultimo ambito rientra Moving Pictures, opera nata come webcomic e successivamente edita in volume da Top Shelf Productions. Moving Pictures è la storia del rapporto difficile e pericoloso tra il curatore Ila Gardner e il responsabile Rolf Hauptmann, costretti dalle circostanze a trascinare la loro vita privata in una lotta pubblica di potere. La narrazione si sviluppa lungo due linee temporali che si intersecano con la rivelazione di un terribile segreto, con una decisione enigmatica che non tutti farebbero e con la consapevolezza che a volte l’unica scelta è il rifiuto di scegliere. Il volume sarà curato da smoky man ed è solo uno dei cinque titoli che NPE ha in cantiere per Lucca Comics & Games 2010.

The debut of the series already is shaping up with fireworks, in fact the first story sees the pencil and signed by one of the masters of American comics, Stuart Immonen! Just Moving Pictures falls in the latter context, the work began as a webcomic and subsequently published in volume from Top Shelf Productions. Moving Pictures is the story of the difficult and dangerous relationship between the trustee and the manager Rolf Ila Gardner Hauptmann, forced by circumstances to drag their privacy in a public struggle for power. The story develops along two timelines that intersect with the revelation of a terrible secret, a puzzling decision that not everyone would and with knowledge that sometimes the only choice is the refusal to choose. This volume is edited by smoky man and is one of five titles that NPE is working for Lucca Comics & Games 2010.
